The
Cyclades
islands are definitely Europe’s
favourite summer holiday destinations.
The group is located in the central and southern part of the Aegean
Sea and consist of 39 islands of which 24 are inhabited.
The more important of the Cyclades islands

Santorini
Greece is one of the most popular of the Cyclades.
The reasons are obvious: spectacular volcanic landscapes,
traditional white painted villages situated on 300
metres cliffs offering a breathtaking view over
the submerged volcano, endless beaches made of black
sand, a historical heritage and one of the most
beautiful sunset in the world.
The island is also famous
for its architecture. Small cubic houses built the
one upon the other with interiors dug in the rock
and creating a deep cave. Many Santorini

Mykonos
Greece is definitely the most famous of the
Cyclades and one of the top holiday destinations
in the Mediterranean. The island attracts each summer

Greece is one of the most popular destinations

Naxos

Homer’s island, is a mountainous island with
a beautiful capital, some of the most impressive

churches and chapels.
The island’s capital, Hora, is located in

It is a beautiful town that worth to be visited.

Tinos
is situated in the north of the Cyclades, close
to Andros. It is a mountainous and green island.
The island is famous as the Holy Island of Virgin
Mary and is one of the major destinations of pilgrimage
in Greece.

island gets overcrowded by a majority of Greek people.

Milos
is the most westerly of the Cyclades. It is a volcanic
island and that makes it really interesting from
a geological point of view. Milos is famous for
its landscapes and many impressive rock formations
can be seen all over the island.
Milos has many beautiful golden sandy beaches to

in incredible areas with impressive rock formation.
Milos is world known for “the Milos de Milo”, a

Andros
is the most northerly of the Cyclades and it is
the second largest after the island of Naxos. Rich
in water, it is also one of the most fertile, offering
